I was chillin outside one crazy snow riddled day, when I noted that the more it snowed, the more I seemed to be making the only audible noise, even though I was in the middle of town.
I began thinking of old sayings and how people say winter is quiet. I think I understand what they were referring to now. Snow absorbs sound waves.
That freaks me out. But it also means that I reacted to less external noises that could bring me to occurrences throughout the day. I focused more on internal reflection, since the snow dampened my senses.
In conclusion, snow holds memories waiting to happen that aren't able to become reality. Winter is quiet.
Interesting observations...I guess it makes me think of the phrase, "the silence was deafening"
