It's over, and here we are =] I'm quite happy with it. Oh britain. I've added in some more shadow work, emphasized a few key areas that needed it, and done my share of texturing and darkening of the image as a whole.

you are so fetch...
ReplyDeleteGretchen, stop trying to make fetch work!
umm... the end
i like the texture you put through it...it makes it all one piece which i think was it's only original weakness...it was too seperate...buit now it's good! good job! miss you while im gone!
ReplyDeleteI don't like how the image has become so dark, but I do think it ties together much better than before. Your textures are also really crisp.
ReplyDeleteWhen it rains again, do you want to go jump in puddles with me? We can make rain art on our own clothing! ^_^
i really like that you darkened it, i think it takes away from the happy cartoon feeling it had before and it causes people to look alot deeper into the meaning.
ReplyDeletegreat job man!
Thanks for the feedback friends, And Rebecca- I would love to frolic in the rain. Im sad you didnt go with us Wednesday, but Im sure March will give us plenty of opportunities =]
ReplyDeleteQuick question to anyone else whos looking at this rendition of the piece. How do you feel about the darkening on the bases of the trees. Too dark or just right? I dont want them to overpower the figure. =] Thanks much ahead of time ^^
